life, careers, and all that jazz

My obsession with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have returned. One day when im no longer constricted in this absolutely-no-free-running-animal-in-the-house environment, im going to finally end this 5yrs of madness and get myself a dog!!

I used to always think that my parents were not the type to try to live their lives through us, but i think im reconsidering it now. Everytime i tell my mum that id like to be a vet, she would wince with disgust and go on a rant about how much better it is to treat humans than useless animals. THEn i would follow this with a rant of my own about how TOUGH it is for me to be able to get into Vet Sc in the first place and HENCE would be impossible for me to get into Med.

Everytime i tell my mum how likely i am to do Archi at usyd, she once again winces and says that im wasting my uai marks and why dont i do PHARMACY? omg..pharmacy..i think i will actually die of boredom.

Oh the mysteries of life and all that it contains.

Hi guys!

I'm writing this to thank everyone for their concern for me yesterday and i was overwhelmed by all the msgs that i got. It's friends like you guys that make the happy-dappy me =)

So basically I was ridiculously stressed and had spent the entire night/morning studying for Chem trials. What made it worse was that i hadn't eaten either. So all factors combined, in the midst of walking to the train station i developed a strong dizziness so I took refuge in a nearby 7/11, where i fainted.

I'm completely fine now and had a blood test done.

On a final note, I LOVE MY FRIENDS! =D

Edit: I got RIPPED OFF a periodic table for my chem exam today it turns out! Lucky i had one in my calculator!

Wibbery crikery trout

So today I was supposed to wake up early, take a bus to Hurstville library and study chem religiously right? But instead I only managed to kick my lazy ass out of bed at noon, make myself some oats for brunch, and sit on a chair for 2hours. Thats right, i sat there staring into nothingness for 2 brilliant hours.

Now you wonder, what did Amanda do after those 2hrs?
Simple. I turned on the laptop (which took like 2secs since it's permanently on standby mode..). Then i went on dreaded facebook and the highlight of my time spent there was winning 460 chips in texas hold'em poker...and then losing it all due to my brief stint of glory.

I also called and talked (aka squealed/ranted/tore out my hair) to Monique after an incident.

So after my escapade, i turned to lovely junk food and eventually made myself some dinner.

That bascially sums up my elation, that is, of my day. Short day aye?

Who thought 3u maths trial paper was a killer? I admit that i only did 3 past papers for the exam and so never studied binomials (nor did i ever finish doing all my hw for that matter..). ALSO because id crammed Projectiles in the 2hrs i had before the exam, by today i had forgotten like EVerything about it and so lost all 7marks for that in 4u =O

Yesterday i was dying from exhaustion. My eyes felt like it weighed a tonne, my head was spinning, and i drank 5 cups of cuppucinos just to stay awake to study for 4u. What actually kept me going was the thought of me relishing in sleep the moment i came home and i certainly did =), 5hrs of it.

I wonder does anyone else come out of exams looking like they had a bad punch-up with a pen? My jersey and my hand comes out scarred by my AWESOME inky pen.

1 wk till trials

Instead of trying to cram like crazy for eng adv/ext, 3u+4u maths, and chem, i decided to show everyone instead of what my life of 'studying' involves. Actually i wont say anything, i think the pictures are enough.

Technology and food ruins our lives does it not?

Ps. My phone is officially dying after 5 brilliant years. Theres no longer any sound coming out of it. So if anyone tries to call me, call a few times and perhaps if you're lucky, i'll see the screen flashing.
